A note from our founder

Hi everyone,

WELCOME BACK to Other Box. Things look a bit different, right? As we grow into our 8th year, I am excited to unveil this next chapter of our journey with you.

We’re back with a new name (we’ve dropped ‘The’ which our rebrand partner Omse described as our “Facebook moment”), a new look and well, new everything. It only felt right that as I've grown and evolved as a person, the brand should evolve too, reflecting the boldness and confidence we’ve gained over the years.

Our mission has always been clear: championing diversity, improving inclusion, bridging gaps and providing opportunities for our ever-expanding community. The Other Box community has always been the driving force behind our work. Since 2016, we’ve achieved a hell of a lot. We’ve trained thousands of people from hundreds of companies around the world, partnered with brands on impactful events and activations focusing on positive change and social impact - and also received a few awards along the way.

With Roshni’s departure from the company, I'm reminded of the incredible journey we've shared and the meaningful impact we've made together. I am proud to have created a globally recognised company specialising in diversity and inclusion education with her, initially focused on the creative and tech sectors and expanding our reach across various industries worldwide. I'm now looking forward to continuing our shared vision and carrying forward the important work we started together, honouring our past while boldly shaping the future of the Other Box as a solo female founder. We joked about it being my Beyonce moment.

So here it is: OTHER BOX. Here’s what you can expect:

  A jobs board and careers resource where both companies and the OtherBox community thrive.

• STUDIO → REPRESENTATION
  Creative advisory, brand partnerships and activations to improve representation and build meaningful connections and opportunities with creatives from underrepresented communities.

• TALKS → COMMUNICATION
  Book me as a speaker, panellist, host, or press contributor for events and media covering themes related to DEI, workplace culture, entrepreneurship, personal and professional development, authentic storytelling, identity, and mental well-being.

We’re launching at a time when the world feels more divisive than ever, and the need for community is paramount. So, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and continue our work on revolutionising the workplace and seeing The Ripple Effect grow to create real change. It's time to Make Space for Difference.

Thank you all immensely for the love and support you've shown this far, for being a part of this extraordinary adventure, and for continuously showing up for the Other Box. Here's to a bright and bold future ahead!
