I was thrilled to work with Leyya on a Vogue Business event. She was a terrific voice to our panel "Diversity and Intersectionality in the Influencer World," raising provocative points about the necessity of inclusivity training and awareness across all aspects of the industry. Other Box to joined a panel discussion on mental health among young women of colour in the workplace due to their commitment to celebrating people of colour in professional settings. From the outset, Leyya was fully engaged in the project: she actively promoted the event on her socials, responded promptly to emails, and came thoroughly prepared with insightful answers on the day. Working with Leyya was a pleasure, and I recommend them to anyone seeking impactful collaboration.

You were beyond fantastic today. You gave such gold dust, highly personal insights. As you could see, the students got so much out of it. It’s so unique for them to be able to hear from someone at your stage, not to mention someone of your talent. And so generous of you to help nurture this next group coming up. Other Box are a staple part of General Assembly’s events focusing on diversity and inclusion. They always add a strong element of human empathy and give a voice to underrepresented minorities at work. Leyya came in to speak to us about the challenges faced by the underrepresented communities within the creative industries. There were a lot of actions for us to take on from structuring job descriptions, workplace culture and how we can be more inclusive. It was great to be given the space to talk openly about the challenges people face at work and how we can improve. It was an extremely interesting and thought-provoking talk, and I advise anyone to take up the opportunity to hear it.
