The debut solo exhibition by Heleena Theodore is taking place in East London on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March.

Heleena Theodore (she/her) is a UK-based South Asian artist whose work delves into traditional South Asian folk art, Mughal and Indian miniatures, and erotica. As a tattoo artist, illustrator, and painter, she utilises these mediums to reconnect with and explore her Indian heritage.

The upcoming exhibition features the "Lali and Lili" erotica series, inspired by 16th-century Indian erotica and mythical creatures. This collection portrays strong, powerful demons confidently engaging in self-pleasure and mutual pleasure, challenging conventional narratives and celebrating themes of empowerment and sexuality.

This weekend is the only chance to purchase limited edition prints and merchandise featuring artwork by Heleena Theodore.

Please note the art contains themes of an explicit nature, so this event is for 16+ only.
