POSTING A JOB

  • Posting a job on the Other Box Jobs Board is easy. Just follow these steps to find the perfect candidate for your role:

    1. Click here to create an account. This will allow you to manage your job postings and submissions.

    2. After setting up your account and providing your details, go to the top right corner of the page and click "Post Job" to access the job posting form.

    3. Complete the job details form, being as specific as possible. After finishing the job description, go to the checkout page to review and pay for your listing.

    It’s that simple! Once your job is posted, applicants can apply directly through the provided link or via email, depending on the method you choose when filling out the job details.

  • Yes. All listings should follow these guidelines:

    • Accurate job descriptions: The duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required for the job are accurately and transparently included.

    • Salary or salary range: We only post jobs that include a salary or range. Research has shown that this is one of the key ways to facilitate equity in the recruitment process and empower those who are historically underrepresented and marginalised.

    • Inclusive language: Use inclusive language that welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds and avoids reinforcing stereotypes.     • Accessibility: Job listings should be accessible to all individuals, including disabled people, by using accessible formats and technology, and offering necessary adjustments throughout the recruitment process.

    • Compliance with Labour Laws: Sounds obvious, but please make sure your job postings comply with relevant labour laws and regulations, including minimum wage laws and working conditions.

    • Privacy: Respect the privacy of applicants by only requesting necessary information and handling personal data securely and responsibly.

  • Your listing stays up until it reaches the application deadline, at which point it will automatically be taken down. If you need to update the application deadline, you can log in to your account and make the necessary changes to the listing.
